In other waiting news, I accidentally knocked my tablet off my desk and the connecting bit to the cord bent and now my tablet isn't working D: I took it in to get looked at at a local repair place and they can still plug some things into the port on the tablet, but the cord just won't go in. I talked to Wacom about it too and they recommended getting a new cord, so I'm giving that a try but it won't get here until Monday. UGH EVERYTHING IS WAITING LATELY EVERYTHING IS WAAITTINNGGGGGG a real test of patience here

I think I mentioned before that I was playing Miitopia to fend of Tomodachi cravings and it's cute! I've taken some screencaps along the way so why not post them, haha. GOTTA DO SOMETHING

TOMODACHI LIFE DROPPING ON THE 16TH AND I CAN'T WAIT I CAN'T WAAAAIIITTT AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
I can't remember the last time I was counting days this intensely, haha. I'm so excited!! I can't wait to make so many Miis with all the great customization tools and the CLOTHES and the PETS and MPREG/FPREG AAAAAAAAA
the lack of a filter is also hilarious lol. I'm a little sad there doesn't seem to be a way to share Miis like with Streetpass back in the original! But who knows, maybe there'll be something, we don't know! It could get updates or something if it's like super popular or something, haha. The hype for it seems real! I don't remember people flipping out about the original but people definitely seem to be flipping out over this one. At least in my circles, haha.

Anyway, I thought the first game also didn't have a filter but it turns out that's not true! The 3DS ITSELF has a filter, but the game itself doesn't! So I was halfway right? It's really easy to get around though if you just stick words together. I tried to find my Tomodachi Life cartridge to test for myself but no matter where I looked I couldn't find it! Then I got curious if maybe it was just a Streetpass thing, since the screencap I had was from a Streetpass I got. Then it turned out there's a way to get Streetpasses over the net called Netpass! I loved getting Streetpasses back in the day, but it's hard when you don't live in a huge city where a lot of people have DS's, and you're definitely not going to get any nowadays, so the idea of Streetpassing again was very appealing! I could play my stupid flower breeding game again!

However, it only works on hacked DSes, but people told me that hacking a DS is actually pretty easy. :O There's a site that lists all the steps in detail, and following that, I actually did it! And all my data's intact and everything. :O I tested out Netpass and I can indeed get Streetpasses again! When my internet connection decides to work anyway, haha. My DS always had shaky wifi... well in general my wifi is always a bit shaky. But I've been having fun trying out new things on my 3DS again! I COULD technically redownload Tomodachi Life if I wanted, apparently my data for it is still on my DS? But I don't want to Tomodachi myself out before the new drop, haha. I HAVE TO SAVOR IT

So instead I've been playing Miitopia, which is also fun! I like the relationship system in it, where each party member has a relationship that goes up or down depending on what you do, and at certain thresholds you get new little abilities, like helping each other with attacks or comforting each other or taking hits for each other. It's cute! My current team is my old lady Mii, Dahlia, Yanni, and Disco. I wanted a team of all olds but I didn't have another old character on my Tomodachi Island, haha. Though if I get a chance at another team member I'm going to make Wickerbottom.


Anyway, in more interesting news, I UPDATED VARGAS!! It hasn't QUITE been five years but it's incredibly close, haha. The longest gap was five years and I MANAGED TO BEAT IT. It's shorter than most chapters but pretty intense, some big things happen in it! A very complicated pivotal scene that went through many iterations, I have tons of scraps from it on the cutting room floor. I don't want to get into more detail since I just posted it and some people might not have read it yet. It's getting the reaction I was hoping for though, hehe. Updating Vargas feels like such a huge momentous deal to me every time I do it and I can only imagine it as another "eh, don't care, what's the big deal" for most people who follow me lol. VARGAS FANS ARE PASSIONATE BUT I DON'T KNOW WHAT PROPORTION OF PEOPLE FOLLOWING ME THEY MAKE
